http://www.careers.govt.nz/default.aspx?id0=30103&id1=j47134 I've found this link that basically outlines what I need to become a horse trainer. I live in Wellington, NZ. 16 - 17 in August. Dropped out of school June '10. However, this job doesn't really acquire much skill, just experience gained skills and knowledge of horses. Does anyone know where I can find a farm or place who would be willing to have a 16/17 year old working with them to gain the skills I need to pursue my dream career :) Ever since I was young I wanted this job - I know it's dangerous and everything. I absolutely love horses! I know it's a long shot posting a question like this on here But can anyone help me out?! I know there's a TINNNYYY amount of kiwi's on this business?! Do you know anyone or any places? I'm trying to google things, but it just keeps coming up with the same website and asking for experienced trainers. I wanna GAIN that experience/skill that I need! PLLEEEAAAASSSSEEE!!! Any answers will be GREATLY appreciated! - Although I'm actually not expecting anyone to answer this or know anything about this kind of thing. But still. It's worth a shot! Kia Ora! ~ Jay My aunty has a farm, but they don't groom the horses as often and stuff like that as they aren't show horses. Just basically pets. My aunty has A LOT of friends in the dressage etc side of things, but most of them have daughters who are interested in the same thing as me and getting their experience that way. :/ Just another lost dream :( lols

Well do you know any farmers? Surely! You know someone. Or you could make an advertisement about yourself on job sites.
