Are there any problems on my The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night- Time book report

Are there any problems on my The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night- Time book report?
Fixes and suggestions are greatly appreciated:) Here is what I wrote(this is just my intro and body): The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night- Time: A Novel, by Mark Haddon, is about the life of a young, arithmetically- gifted autistic teenager named Christopher John Francis Boone; who lives in Swindon, Wiltshire. One night he discovers a dead poodle, stabbed with a garden fork, of his neighbor, Mrs. Shears, and gets arrested for assaulting a police officer. Christopher decides to play detective and sets out to find out who killed Wellington. But there are obstacles: he has difficulty to socialize with others and his father orders him to keep his nose out of people’s business. Also, he cannot read facial expressions- this will make the case even harder for him to solve; but he understands his liabilities. His mother dies two years later, leaving his father, Ed Boone, child custody to his son. Christopher decides to write a book for school, the one we read as a novel. He starts his detective work by asking some people in his street if they saw anyone kill Wellington or saw anything strange happening in the street in the night of Wellington’s death. He finds out from his neighbor, Mrs. Alexander, that his mom had an affair with Mrs. Shear’s husband, Mr. Shears. His father discovers Christopher’s book and gets into a fight with him. Christopher wanted to get his book back because he liked writing in it; so he searched for it around his house. He discovers it in a shirt box in his father’s room, and finds letters from his mom. He realizes that his mom wasn’t dead but living with Mr. Shears in London, England; she ran away with Mr. Shears two years ago, incapable to care for Christopher for any longer. This made him hurt and caused him to black out. He also finds out from his dad that he killed Wellington- this makes Christopher scared of him, thinking that he might get murdered himself too. So he hides in the shed that night and decides to live with his mother in England. With difficulties, he took the train to London, flinging of the police twice. However, taking the train was really scary for him- because he almost lost his pet rat Toby, there was loud noise, and a lot of people. His mother, Judy, gets surprised when she sees Christopher in front of the door and even more surprised that he didn’t think that she was dead as his father claimed.

Your report is very good. You might want to add a few things though: -Include what happens after Christopher reaches London, meeting Mr. Shears, and how his mother leaves Mr. Shears and takes him back to Wiltshire, and how he takes his Maths A-Level and passes. - You might want to change the sentence "He finds out from his dad that he killed Wellington" to "He finds out that his father was the one who killed Wellington" because it's a little confusing. Other than that, it's a good report. I hope you get a good mark on it!
