wellington for singles?
hi! i'm considering moving to new zealand, but no particular place yet. however, since i'm in the IT field, chances are i'll be moving to wellington. unfortunately, i read somewhere that wellington is one of the most, if not the most, boring place in nz and in the world in general. is this true? can't say much as i've never been to nz. what is it like for singles to live and work in wellington? are there lots of cafes, bars open late at night? are people friendly? are there lots of places for recreation and meeting people? how about adventure activies nearby? generally, is it fun living there? thanks! thanks everyone for the answers. :) although auckland seems to be more alive, according to my research, IT jobs are more present in wellington, so i was just thinking i would end up in welly. though personally, i think i would love auckland too. let's see. i still have the rest of the year to think about this anyway. :)

NO WAY!!!!! Wellington is DEFINETLEY NOT boring!!!! I love it here!!!! We are considered the culture capital of NZ as we have a very diverse range of people, when you arrive go to Cuba street in the evenings on a friday or saturday night and let me know if you think it was boring http://www.wellingtonnz.com/

Welly is the most boring place in th world?! Lol wot!!! I don't really have anything to base it on as I've never been anywhere else but I love Wellingtons night life! Going out there when its night, theres so many bright lights and the atmostphere is great! Its hard to say if its boring because it really depends on your taste. Im only 16 so I havent been able to experience the clubs but I would definitely say give it a go cause from what ive heard its great. And if you don't like it, you can always move right? :)

What! Boring? It is one of the most beutiful cities on earth. on a sunny day that is. It is a great place to live! Heaps of restaurants and that. Have a look around oriental bay, its nice!

Hi there, Wellington is basically in the centre of the North and South Islands and I found it very friendly while living there.... It is great with it's night life and is just over the strait from the South Island which has lots of fantastic outdoor activities..... However, Auckland is the biggest city in NZ, with lots of big companies and has a shortage of single guys.... it has a huge amount of bars and cafes, and is warmer and more laid back than Wellington.....There a lots of water activities, because of all the beaches and are day trips away from a big amount of outdoor activities....so it's a fun place to live! Out of the two cities I would personally choose Auckland. And there are lots of other fantastic towns and cities in NZ...! Either way, I'm sure you will enjoy your NZ experience!

one tree hill season 2finale
one tree hill season 2finale?
what happens in the second part (part 2 cuz theres 2 episodes for the finale and i watched the first). i missed it and i cant watch it on my computer cuz my speakers arent working. can sum1 give me the most detailed description. what haappens in new yorlk with brooke and luke and chris and haley. what about nathan? dan? karen. does she go 2 new zealend? peyton whats up with her etc. most detailed description gets best answwer. also plz answer if u have seen this episode recently and remember it clearly. thnk u :)

Nathan justly mistrusts whether Lucas is finished trapping Dan when he sees him in the office. Deb is welcomed home by Dan announcing they're a family again now Nathan moves back in, but later she tells Nathan she wants him to go to Highflyers as coach advises, she didn't get on pills because he moved out, and they decide to walk out together, for good. Lucas tells Karen she shouldn't mind him and go to Andy in New Zealand alone. Peyton discovers she was interviewed by a phony reporter Ellie. Lucas shows Deb he has enough on his black money to bring Dan down, but when she announces Dan she's leaving, he points out the business is in her name, so she would risk the same jail term; she gets back on pills and asks Nathan to wait, he shows Lucas it was all faked as a test which he failed and is therefore thrown out, without the college fund -which was real- and stops paying his heart medication. Deb goes to go get it and Nathan opens the door and Haley is standing there...and then it fades out. Dan is (ok this is part of the 3rd season) Dan is not present because turns out when the phone rings its actually someone telling Deb that Dan is in a dealership fire. So, then Lucas is there (at the dealersip fire) and he sees it go on fire and so then he goes in and saves Dan. Then he approaches Peyton on the beach and says "so i guess its just you and me this summer huh?" and then they hug...actually she hugs him and he askes her whats wrong and then she says nothing but then she finally admits she cant be at her house alone, so she asks him to stay with her, and then when they get to her house in her bedroom they hear a siren and hes like "I did something tonight Peyton, and i cant take it back." and then it fades out, but thats were he tells her that he saved Dan from the fire. Ok, so then with Brooke and Lucas, they are in the room and Lucas kisses her, and then shes like "i hop that was a goodbye kiss" and then hes like "I love you" and then the cab is like outside so she just leaves (cuz i mean she has too) and then Lucas and Karen start talking and shes going through her closet and shes like "we dont have enough money for two plane tickets" and then lucas goes "yeah but we hav enough for one. Isn't the World Cup supposed to be the best teams, then why is it so easy for NZ to qualify?
New Zealend are absolute garbage and they make it by playing in the worst association (remember Australia 32 goal thumping of American samoa) and by playing a weak bahrain side?????? how does that work? While decent teams are fighting for Euro places. USA!

just a fluke they got lucky but they"ll be out of the world cup straight away most likely

because they have no one to play against, you play within your region. hey dude i wouldn't be talking if you love USA so much and they were in a better and harder qualifying group they'd probably never make the world cup. USA is a crappy team, they will get knocked out in the group stage.(im an American)

just like in every type of sport you have to win your region first to go to the World Cup. Each area has the right to be represented. Be a good sport and support your team, but, congradulate others when they beat your ass.

If it was the best 32 teams in the world, there would only be teams from Europe, South America and maybe one or two teams from Africa in the finals. Do you really think that the USA would go to the world cup if they had to qualify against teams like England, Germany, Italy, France, Brazil or Holland instead of teams like Canada, Cuba, Trinidad/Tobago? It's called the world cup for a reason. If teams like New Zealand had no chance of making the finals, what would be the point of entering the competition?

In fairness the USA are in the same boat as those two, playing against amateur opponents. ill admit the US is a lot better than new zealand but a handful of superior european teams are missing out because qualification is much harder for them

Where to start a new life
Where to start a new life?
I am considering starting a new life in another country. I really want to move away from the UK as I have had enough. I would like to move to a new country but am unsure which is easiest to find work and contains the best people and atmosphere. I would like to go to USA but which part not sure. New zealend is nice and greece and Turkey are my favorite holiday locations but still cannot decide where it would be best to move. Anybody have experience in migrating?

go to Seattle WA. it is really pretty, lots to do, really nice people, big population, lots of houses available, lots of jobs.

First thing you should do is decide if you are moving for the right reason and not because of how you feel at the moment. You should research the places that interest you and see which offers the most for you and the kind of work you do. It really isn't a good idea to move to some fabulous place and they have no positions available in your field of work. Good luck in what ever you decide to do.
