My Wii Is Frozen

My Wii Is Frozen?
Ok i just bought a new game called red steel on the wii and it was going smoothly until it just stopped. A message came on the screen saying "the wii remote has lost connections with the console. Strangely, it wouldn't even turn off via the console switch. I did the normal troubleshooting thing for the wii and unplugged everything from it. I left it for about 5 minutes and then plugged it all back in. Then the wiimote flashed one blue light a few times, kept doing this and stopped working. I finally got to clicking the disc symbol when the entire console froze and let out a long buzzing noise. it wouldn't let me turn it off, eject or use the wiimote and has kept doing this since it first froze. I tried synching, googling the topic, and charging the wiimote. Is there any way i can get this to work without ringing nintendo? If not, what is nintendo's number for Wellington New Zealand?

That was happened to mine a few times as well. Just a system defect, in going to guess you bought a Wii when it first came out? When mine did that all I had to do was restart the console.. It's possible yours just has a defect. If it's still under warranty, you should be able to return it. If not, You can call Nintendo, and they will fix it for like $30-40

well i owna wii and i have never heard of something like that you should definetly give ninteno a call

this has happened to me a lot. you have to hold the power botton for about 10 seconds and then it will turn off.i am not sure what causes it but all i now is that is is not just some thing that happens to yours so dont get a new one. is normale but i am not shorw why the wii remote wont work

I'm not sure why your Wii is locking up. I recently bought a second Wii for my wifeand we had a lot of trouble with it, but at least we were getting an error message - if you can call "unknown error" an error message. I had to take it back and exchange it. Anyway, what I wanted to say is this: When you press the button on the Wiimote before turning on the Wii, up to four of the lights flash. How many of them flash is an indication of how much power is in your batteries. Four lights flash if you have new batteries. If only one light is flashing, that shows that the battery has nearly run out. That could be why you get the message that "the wiimote has lost conection with the console". Change the batteries in your wiimote to see if that improves things.
5 :
I just want to correct Michael Jones, the flashing lights do not stand for the battery level. 1 Flashing light is to indicate remote number 1. 2 lights= wiimote #2...so on so forth. As far as your console shutting down, that happened to me once and it was because my batteries moved in the remote and the bar on top of TV wasn't detecting the signal strong enough to recognize the remote. Try changing your batteries and make sure you don't move too fast and don't go too far away from the detection bar.

You all HAVE to READ this ......it is HORRIBLE

You all HAVE to READ this ......it is HORRIBLE?
WELLINGTON, New Zealand — A New Zealand mother who needed an electric oxygen pump to breathe died after an energy company cut the power to her home due to an unpaid bill, her family claimed Wednesday.Police said they launched an investigation into the death of Folole Muliaga, 44, on Tuesday, in the northern city of Auckland, which happened within hours of state-owned company Mercury Energy cutting power to her house Mercury general manager, James Moulder, said the company was devastated by the woman's death and was conducting its own investigation to determine what happened. He refused to say how much money Muliaga had owed the companyMuliaga, a schoolteacher with four children ages 5 to 20, had been off work since February with an illness when a Mercury Energy rep arrived on Tuesday to cut the electricity, said Sheehan, a nephew of uliaga's. and her son told the technician she was dependent on the oxygen machine to live but he cut the power and left ,911 was called she but she died This is horrendous to me was these kids mother s life worth several hundred dollers to them .Why did they not wait for her to be taken to a hospital or somewhere it is just horrible I think everyone should email this company and tell them how horrible the are. www.mercury.co.nz/Contact/Default.aspx this is the contact link on their customer service page yep it is definatly true I got it off fox news webpage please please email these horrible people

I hate how people are more concerned with money and power than actual people. How this could happen makes me sick. I hope they get to the bottom of who is responsible and see that it never happens again.
2 :
Wow....you'd think they wou;dve had a backup generator since it was a life or death situation. Poor kids....hope the power company gets their butts sued & the kids have money to survive until adulthood.
3 :
if this is true then it was murder. I hope you all will join together to help those children, I know you are a good people.
4 :
Companies do that here all the time, and people are killed every year in the good ole USA the same exact way! In my state, and I assume others, because of the power companies lack of morality, we have a law that says they cannot turn power off during the winter! If we didn't have it, they would be doing it! As far as oxygen, most people have oxygen tanks as well as they can't be slaved to an oxygen machine! Something fishy here!
5 :
Thats just wrong. Now her children have to go on with there lives knowing that their mother died because the elecrtric company wanted some money.
6 :
Dear USA, Eu, Australia ... When profit is more important than people, we are a doomed soxciety.
7 :
It's tragic, but how can you blame the power company? Do you think they have ESP? You cant trust the story that the technician was told, do you really think someone would cut the power if they knew someone would die, isnt that called murder or at the least manslaughter? Who would want that on their conscience? I think the whole blame is on the family, they let their mother die by not being responsible about their power bill, all shame on them I say. They are trying to shift the blame for their own fatal stupidity and it's very very sad. I know these big companies are heartless, and im normally totally against their heavy handed actions, but in this case I think they are being unfairly victimised. Who knows the whole truth? Definitely not us as you can read.
8 :
The livelihoods of the people who own and work at the power company depend on customers paying their bills. The nephew and the son made sure to tell the technician about the woman's oxygen pump when he arrived, but nobody bothered to pay the bill, make a payment arrangement with the power company or inform the company when all the past due notices arrived that a resident in the home relies on an oxygen pump for survival. You know, if you are direct with a company about your inability to pay, they're almost always willing to work with you. I realize that a huge error was made. The technician should have called his supervisor or given another warning. I don't know why he didn't take the warnings of the nephew and the son seriously. And by the way - this isn't all about profit. The article clearly states this is a STATE-OWNED company. You probably would have received nicer treatment from a privately owned company. Whenever the government owns anything, there are rules and procedures to be followed and very little flexibility. That's the nature of government bureaucracy.

What is your question???

she died happy watching soaps and eating bon bons. if she can't pay the electric bill she cannot provide for her children so the kids are now better off. they do not need McDonald's, CHIPS AND CANDY OR THEIR MOMMY! Wool socks and cashmere lined leather gloves?
2 :
Im from Minnesota, so I have lots of budget ideas for staying warm in very cold weather. On thiing I do is wear leather palmed mittens with knit gloves underneath, you cut a small hole on the side of the mitten for your pinky to come through so you can ride in them. feet, all you need are your regular riding boots, place a pair of large mens wool socks over the outside of your riding boots, then put on a pair of mens overshoes (the rubber overshoes business men wear) your toes stay toasty and your feet still fit in the stirrups. Another thing you can do is ride with a quarter sheet with a velcro rider hole. You can also make one with a wool blanket from army surplus. Simply cut out the hole and literally wrap it around your legs, the horses body heat keeps you VERY warm. Try these, I promise you will be warm. :)

Lots of layers of jumpers and under shirts. For socks I've always found it's far better to get one or two thick pairs of socks built for the cold, than lots of pairs of thinner socks. Gloves are a bit of a nightmare, as too thick and you can't ride. Try not to get them wet when doing yard duties etc as your hands will freeze, so long as your gloves are dry they will work better. One brilliant thing that I worked out this year is wearing a pair of tights under your johds, that will really help keep you warm.

You can get skiing socks and gloves they are great! Also they make covers for your helmet to keep in the warmth I got mine at Millbrook and I just love it you can slip it off and wash it and its not that expensive. My Absolutely favorite boots are my Arctic sport Muck boots. You cant look them up online. I highly recommend them. Good Luck.

Wool socks with hand warmers in your boots and hand warmers in your gloves.
6 :
You could use hand and feet warmers that people use when they go skiing and snowboarding. They are cheap and they work for hours.
7 :
Thicker Socks and Gloves

i use boot warmers, and a pair of boots i bought from LL Bean. The great thing about LL Bean is that you can try the boots out, and if they dont work out (even after a couple weeks) you can send them back! of course i didnt need to because mine were so excellent!

If your ex meets someone and sleeps with her soon after the split but then we get back together is it cheatin

If your ex meets someone and sleeps with her soon after the split but then we get back together is it cheatin
We had split up for the 2nd time but I hadn't moved out yet. I'd gone to wellington for the xmas etc. . When I got back he seemed wierd I was meant to be packing up and moving out so i questioned him and he admitted he met someone. Turns out he quite likes her so as you can imagine I got upset. I decided I still wanted him and pretty much begged him to give it another go. He has agreed but it seems like it is more me than him that wants it. Part of the reason why it hasnt worked is , he wants me to get a job he has supported me since I moved in with him. Plus I'm not flash on house work so I've promised to try harder, get a job etc. But now I dont trust him and watch him like a hawk. Do you think we can get past this. I can tell he must have quite liked this girl as he is not the sort to cheat. He basically told me straight away. Says he feels bad about it for me and for her as when he hooked up with her he genuinely thought we were split up. Do we have a chance?

What made you decide that you wanted him back? Was it only because he had met someone? If he had not met anyone would you of still want him back? I think we need to know the background reason as to why you both split in the first place. I don't think it's cheating but it would of been respectful for him to not of been with anyone else until you had moved out. Cheers
5 :
So you split up for the 2nd time, were in the process of moving out, but decided you wanted him back when you found out that he had already found someone else? Sounds like you might be in the relationship again for all the wrong reasons. You might want to take a look at yourself and find out what you want and what will make you happy. It sounds like you weren't being an equal partner, so to speak (by not having a job or helping around the house), like he wanted you to be. Maybe you should take some time and explore the reasons why. I think that you should agree to part ways and let him go. I mean, did he only take you back because you begged and he felt guilty? This isn't good either. Find a guy who you want to be with, and who wants to be with you, not because you think you should be together.
6 :
you broke up and it was official......you left your stuff there but as far as relationships go.....you were broken up so that it was not cheating. if he met someone else, then he has all the right to do so. your relationship was over when he went with this other person. now that you are both back together, you have to forget what happened because it really had nothing to do with you. he was free to do as he liked......and remember you left!!!! you left him....even if it was for xmas or whatever, you left!!!! he seems to be a nice guy....he is honest and he must have really liked her. for him to get over her and start a relationship with you, you have to do your part...... you are making use of him with his supporting you and you not doing much for the house. i suggest if you want to hold on to his guy you better do your part. get a job even how measly it is and do your part at home. maybe you can show him that you are worth the sacrifice of his giving up this other girl who he must like too. if you do not change in your ways and do your part in your relationship, he will wisen up and some pretty and nice girl will take him away from you. you just got a reprieve......make use of it as you have been given another chance.
7 :
im affraid to say it seems your relationship is going nowhere. you need to get out before it drags you down. the longer you stay with him the more jealous you will become, which will cause more arguments. unless you both take a step back and speak about you feelings , maybe with a professional you will end up hateing each other. him for being continually watched and you for thinking he doesn't love you. many of us stay in a relationship long after they are over just because we don't like the thought of the alternative. i hope it all works out for you, life should be happy best of luck .
8 :
You had split for the second time, what were you thinking, third time lucky? You had considered moving on and by the sounds of it, so had he. You are probably feeling quite insecure at the mo because you know that he can move on and disregard your past together? Well reality hurts sometimes but "the past" it was. So don't dwell on the past, as you are only wasting the time you have today. Don't look back in 3 months time, thinking what have I done, get out and enjoy today and tomorrow, forget the past!
9 :
I don't want to sound mean... Move on, it seems your ex has. If you are watching him like a hawk and can't trust him you may never get past this! Honestly, he hasn't cheated on you because you were split up when he hooked up with the girl. It sucks to know he has moved on so soon but I would feel uneasy knowing he had/still has feelings for another girl. Ask yourself this... if he didn't tell you about this other girl, would you still want him? Do you still want him knowing you can't have him? Are you going to change the ways you have written for you or to save the relationship? Good luck :)
