Has anyone been denied entry into a country yet for destroying the RFID chip in your passport

Has anyone been denied entry into a country yet for destroying the RFID chip in your passport?
These RFID chips are planted in pets, passports, and soon us. I was recently denied entry by Immigration/Customs of New Zealand apparently because they thought I was going to work in there country illegally, or at least that's what I guess. I was in jail for 2 days and with the flying time plus time zone change the nightmares of interrogation, searching through my journal, my wallet, my tampons, my pockets, even strip searched (bending over naked) while humiliated and tired, went on for 5 days there stuck in limbo of the Wellington Airport of NZ. At one point they wanted to take me to the local hospital to check my insides for drugs they were assuming i was trying to smuggle in simply because I had laxatives in my toiletries. How much power is too much power? Immigration and Customs are harsh and cruel and wield too much power. Period. As an extensive traveler of the world, I fully plan to take a stand against RFID chips because our liberties are taken away daily by democracies every single day. By the way, I'm an American.

Well, good for you. You certainly DO have the right to take a stand against chips however at the same time a sovereign nation has the right to implement what ever restrictions they choose with regards to who may or may not enter the country and under what conditions they may enter it. The way things are going and if you continue with your protest you will pretty much be restricted to travel within the US which will certainly not bother any other country much. Feel free to exercise your rights all you want.

Is it any wonder people in other countries don't like pompous, know-it-all, arrogant, thick-headed Americans? You may be against the RFID chips in passports and pets, and if you don't like it - stay home! After your ordeal, you would think you would learn a lesson - no one in immigration in other countries really cares about what you think of the chips. I'm sure they were pretty clear about why they were detaining you, as well. I just can't get past wondering why you would do something like that, and cause all the problems for yourself??? You think "your liberties" take precedence over the laws and rules of other countries, and you are dead wrong. If you like spending time in jails all over the world, just keep doing what you are doing and you will get what you deserve. You are an embarrassment - and I'm an American who abides by the rules other countries (as well as my own) have put in place for the safety of everyone. Oh, and my dog has been microchipped and registered, vaccinated and desexed - because I'm a responsible pet owner who loves her dog and if he ever got lost, would hope the microchip would get him back to me.

Rude Rodeo.. I don't understand (WHY!?)

Rude Rodeo.. I don't understand (WHY!?)?
I got a job a month ago at a barrel racing stable. We are the only stable that has 7 girls act like a family. We all care about one another, except this one girl. (lets call her Kassi) Kassi rides for the same barn as us.. Owns 3 horses at the stable and feels like she's "The shit" I just started working here 2 months ago and she gives me compliments.. but they're RUDE! Yesterday she said "Wow, you actually look pretty with make up on!" it's getting worse and worse... I have been riding for 15 yrs.. I was trained by some top notch trainers in Wellington, Florida for jumping.. I'm learning barrel racing.. So I'm in the powder puff division.. My boss asked us all to look for what we should do as a group together this summer and one girl asked if we could do an english jumping show... ( The horses did jumping before barrels.) Kassi stared at me and said "NO ONE has the training to even do that here! Except me. " I was insulted.. but all I did was smile at her.. and ignore her.. Also, she's been talking about me to the other riders in the arena.. I was on a lazy horse that can't lope the poles or barrels and she got the girls to all laugh at me and sarcastically cheer me on while I was riding in the games.. She doesn't know it pisses me off.. I know I can ride way better than her.. but that's not the point. I'm 19, she is too. My boss knows she's a pain in the butt, everyone at the barn does too. It's just frustrating.. because everyone tells me to avoid her.. and I do.. but she's comming at me being a jerk.. but she covers it up with "negative" compliments. I've been ignoring her... it looks like it doesn't bother me but when I go home I vent to my boyfriend about her to the point where he tells me I should quit. What would you do? What should I do? OH! and while we all act like a family.. She mumbles under her breath praying that one of us from our team knocks a barrel or pole down.. It's rather annoying.. We're not competing for money.. she doesn't think i notice because I'm so new.. but it makes me feel like she's doing the same to me.. All the other girls act like a family.. except Kassi.. she is the only one who doesn't.

Tell the Bitch to back off.. Shes the type that needs to be put in her Place.. So when she says something Just go off on her let all your frustration Out.. Call her every name under the sun :) then i bet she will be like your sister. good luck
2 :
firstly maybe suttely use some of her comments back at her, for example, when she says something like 'youlook pretty with your make-up on' say something back like, oh thanks, maybe you should try it sometime?' she sounds like a pain to me, but i know someone like her, next time she laughs at you on a lazy horse or something, ask her if she wants to ride it and get her to be laughed at instead of her, when she talks to you ignore her, or say something that really annoys someone without it being obvisous, i know this sounds a bit immature, but saying to someone, 'whoose a grumpy bunny rabbit today', or 'who got out of the wrong side of the bed today?' but in a baby voice as if you are talking to a baby, talk to her like that because it subtly annoys people :) hope thi helps and good luck :)
3 :
You sound a lot like me when I was first jumping into actually working in the horse bussiness rather than just riding. To be honest, my entire life I let people say some really rude shit to me and I just smiled and let them do it. But it's not healthy to hold things in because the more you do the worse it will become and it will literally drive you insane. My advice cut the smiles. No more mister nice guy, I'm not saying become a bitch to the girl, but show her you're not to be messed with. I had to do it to. When someone said something negative about my riding in a rude way I will call them out on it. There is no need to for someone to be nasty about anything. If she has any problem with you standing up for yourself, then she can leave. You need to knock her off her high horse. As for family....how can everyone act like family when they go along with what she says? Families wouldn't laugh at another "family member" they would offer help. If I were you, I wouldn't pay attention to any of them. Focus on you and your riding. You will go far and she will be stuck in the same spot being a complete swine that she is. Life in the horse business is difficult, trust me I understand and friendships come and go. You will lose friends but you can't let that stop your from doing what you love. Tell her to step off. Be stern, show no fear. You know when a horse charges at you and you have to assert yourself...it's the same deal.

Ok, some girls just want to be *****s and there's not much you can do. Just smile and be polite, maybe throw a few subtle insults her way, but never let the smile slip from your face. Just let me tell you that her reward is causing pain, so don't reward her. DO NOT stop smiling, I can't stress that enough. See, this is a normal girl problem and I've had it too. If you go at her angrily calling her every bad word you know, she'll know how bad she's hurt you and be happy. So, remember this: She is a pathetic ***** who can only get pleasure from causing others pain. If you let her make you upset, she's won. Don't let the ***** win and you'll be fine. See, when I've been made fun of, I just smile and be civil, and never let it get to me. The girls who did that just gave up on me because i didn't make it fun. If this doesn't work, talk to your boss. Your boss does not need to let you get harassed and poor sports should not be welcome on any team. @ride him cowgirl- I'm sorry, but doing something like that would only let the girl know she's won and that her comments are getting to her! That would egg her on and make things worse! It may be tempting, but it isn't the right way to handle the situation.
5 :
Don't let her get to you. Whenever she says something rude to you, tell her off or you could say something even ruder. Don't even look at her nor talk to her unless she says something rude to you again. Couldn't you tell the stables manager and they could kick her out...?
6 :
Well you have a couple of options.. You can continue to ignore it and be civil, although this may not stop her and she'll continue to speak to you how she pleases, or you can make her look like a tw*t in a passive manner. With bitchy people like that, I often find that they hate it when someone laughs off their comments or turns a nasty remark on it's head, usually because they have no sense of humour or don't know how to retaliate. If she feels she's being made a fool out of, she'll be less likely to make smart remarks in the future - but you need to be fairly quick witted in order to catch them out. You could also outright put her in her place and just not take any crap from her, which may make her cut out the rubbish or make her worse, because you are the same age you could find it's the latter. AVOID being nasty, be stern but not rude and don't insult her, if you do then she'll know she's gotten to you and it will not do you any favours. Don't stoop to her level.
7 :
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. You were told to ignore her, you've been ignoring her and guess what...it hasn't worked! So...why do you keep ignoring her? clearly, she's waiting for a response. give her one. The next time she snides at you, bring up all of the anger she's caused in you, and stand in her face....and tell her point blank: "What the f**** is your problem? You've got a problem with me? WHAT IS IT? Say it! Have the balls to say it to my face or GET OFF MY F*** Back!" And most important, don't let her leave without giving you an explanation. Hound her. If she turns away, follow her, tell her what a coward she is for not wanting to face you and tell you to your face what her insecurity is..... you'll put her down a peg or two. Some people need a verbal punch in the face to get the point. You're her designated doormat....ask yourself if you want to keep being her designated doormat, or do you want to stand up for yourself because you don't deserve to be treated like dog crap. If you get up in her face....try to do it in front of others.....because then you'll be seen and known as the girl with GUTS....instead of the gutless wonder. Get MAD and use that anger to your advantage. Put this sh!thead in her place once and for all. I'll bet anything, she'll stop. People like her like to be snide to people that won't fight back.
8 :
Ignoring is usually the best thing to do, but we all know that at times that is impossible! So, next time she makes a snarky comment about you, just say one right back to her. Or just ream her out, which ever works for you.
9 :
I agree that ignoring or grinning and bearing it is probably the best way to go but, having a few sarcastic comments up your sleeve does no harm. If she had made the make-up comment to me I would have retorted, "Well thank you. Pity it does nothing to help you." On ehr bragging that no one has the experience to go jumping I would have thrown down the gauntlet and challenged her. Ditto with the slow horse, I would have got off the horse, handed her the reins and said, "I am not a good enough rider to get him to do it, please show me how." If she continues to pick on you and takes no notice of returned sarcastic humour, smack her alongside the ear!
10 :
Well, I agree with Wasabi's definition of insanity, but ignoring her is not the thing to be changed. Expect the same from her, and do a better job of ignoring her. You have no problem other than the frustration leading you to rant about it. Many people give backhanded compliments and act exactly as this girl does. If you don't learn to truly ignore it and see it as her problem, and not yours, you have a rough road ahead. She has no power unless you give it to her. People like her eventually implode when there is no one around to allow them to get to them. The sooner you and others truly learn to separate yourselves from her comments, the sooner she will implode. If you have the skill and expertise to put on a jumping competition, then just prove it by doing it. No sense arguing it out with her. You will only dignify her by responding at her level, and that is not what you want to do. Let your sense of humor prevail over your frustration, and drop all defensive responses. This is what diffuses her power to frustrate you, and is ultimately the way to tap into your own power. Insanity is doing the same thing today as you did yesterday and expecting a different outcome. So, continue to expect her to behave this way, and change the way you view it and react to it. In other words, change what you expect of yourself. After all is said and done, you are the only one you can control. Do you really want the likes of her to be controlling any part of you? Right now, you are allowing her to control you to the point that it is affecting your relationship with your boyfriend. Realize that being argued with is to be validated, while being ignored imparts a clear message that says "you are not worthy of my attention".

Are "Buzzwords" universal or subjective? What are yours

Are "Buzzwords" universal or subjective? What are yours?
I am wondering if words which cause very strong emotional response in one person may not do so at all in somebody else. The car industry has, for decades, tried to find model names which sound right, so that buyers take a liking to the vehicle even from hearing the name. I'm not sure if this really works though. The following are my personal buzz words, they make me happy. How about yours? America Arizona Armagnac Bacon Bay Belize Bermuda Brazil Brittany Camaro Caprice Cognac Cohiba Concarneaux Cord Feline Firebird Lizard Melbourne Oregon Pacific Paraguay Paris Perth Phoenix Pontiac Queensland San Francisco South Stockholm Sweden Tacoma Tacuarembo Vancouver Volvo Wellington West Yaguaron

A great question, Tahini :) Ferrari Schatz (German) cafe sex (s-e-x with a drawl) chocolat (Fr) зайка (Russian) Can my current BF's name be a buzzword, too? :))) The sound of all mentioned above 'cause a very strong emotional response ' in me ;)

Chances of ever getting into a good college

Chances of ever getting into a good college?
Okay, well first of all at the moment im finishing my freshman year online. Do online high school courses look bad on my resume? Secondly, im going to be spending three out of four of my high school years not in America. Does that lessen my chances? Im usually a straight A student easily but seem to be struggling with algebra I honors at the moment ): but I am getting tutoring and doing better. Lately, ive been completely amd utterly stressing out about college and i know its a bit early but everyone knows how competitive it is these days. The MAIN THING i have against me right now is so far i have NO EXTRA CIRRICULARS!!! which is freaking me out but im not in school, like I said im doing it online. Last year, i resided in wellington new zealand but entered half way through the school year and wasnt allowed to join anything annoyingly. Ontop of that their education was a year behind academically so i get no credits for the six months i spent in school there but luvkily i was doing it online at the same time for the american cirriculum. Im generally from america i was raised in los angeles so i have the dreamd of big nice colleges like everyone else. A year ago i stood out as a student. Captain of teams student council prez salutatorial alter serving community service, everything you could ever want in a well rounded student. Moving ruined everything for me or so it seems. Either way it makes everything another level of difficulty. The main things im looking for answers on is: 1: is being out of country for the majority of my highschool years going to greatly impact me?(will be in america for senior year) 2: how badly does my freshman year reflect on my resume?(no extra cirriculars) 3: can the fact of living in 3 different countries over they three years in any way look like a good thing??? 4: how much more effort do you think ill need to put in to syick put above the rest? 5: at the moment it looks like im going to Raffles Girls School - the top government school in singapore with a world wide aknowleged IB program. Is that jst at good or better than going to an international school? (hoping it may make them think of how ive experienced and done well in different cultures and still succeeded in such different environments) i cant help but think all this moving is going to ruin any chance i ever had of going to a school like UCLA or Duke. Ive worked so hard my whole short life for such things.(i had been accepted to some of the top private schools in california and scouted by them in basketball) amd my record was impecable i just fear that it was all for nothing. Please, id much appreciate your oppinion on all of this. Anything would be helpful - advice, ect. Thank you in advance an please excuae my spelling im fastly typing away on my iphone at 1:30am :)

School in New Zealand is actually very good, and there are some fine private schools. If you make sure you're in an IB program, your diploma will be recognized all over the world. Elite USA schools will be impressed. Consider also the New Zealand universities. Aukland is good overall. Canterbury, in Christchurch is good. Otago is good for Medical studies.

RORY LOPEZ - immigrated to Nelson New Zealand 1930s. Champion Boxer/ Wrestler CHEREKEE INDIAN did u no of him?
RORY LOPEZ - AMERICAN CHEREKEE INDIAN . I would like to know if anyone may know of this man. It was between 1930 - late 1930s that he came to Nelson, New Zealand. He may have changed his surname to LOPER and was good friends with a man called Reg Fawcett in Nelson. They worked together in a roading gang building roads in Collingwood in the Golden Bay - Nelson. RORY was a champion boxer or wrestler and had many trophy belts he had won. He knew a woman called WINNIE FAWCETT in Nelson and they had 2 daughters. PEGGY and JACQUIE they where never married and were not allowed to be together. He would have been about 37 years old then. Rory may have had 2 sisters here in Nelson or other relatives we don't know of. He may have know a lady by the surname of Emmerson ???? RORY died alone at the age of about 72 years in a house fire in Wellington, New Zealand. In 1974 we think. He was my Grandfather I never knew and my mums Dad she never really knew. If anyone may know of him and can lead some light on his past we would love to have the opportunity to know a little more about him. With the kindest regards Janine

I never heard of him but would like to try and help you find something. A site like www.boxrec.com which lists boxers and all their opponents might help although I did not see his name on a search. If you could list any semi-popular fighter of that era that you are sure he fought I may be able to find his name at least as an opponent. Perhaps you can search different variations of his name and come up with a possible alias as well. I hope your search leads you to something if it was wrestling it wouldn't be on the site listed but there are plenty of wrestling sites that will do the same thing boxrec does for boxing.

How can I improve this

How can I improve this?
I've been working on this and have made some major edits, but I'm just not sure about it. How can improve this? Any advice, tips, or feedback is greatly appreciated! ----- I need to go find what the source of that awful smell is, but I’m a little preoccupied by the balloons filled with jelly that line the floor and the toilet paper draped over every conceivable piece of furniture. I wouldn’t even be able to tell it was the living room of Wellington House if I hadn’t lived there for almost four years. I pick through the wreckage, trying to decide what worse: the stench that I’m now eighty percent sure is a rotting fish or the fact that I’m in charge of cleaning up the whole mess. I’ve almost decided on the stink when Josie, my second in command, calls out, “Hey, Lo, look at this,” in as quiet a voice as she can manage so as not to wake the other girls. Praying that none of them pop, I wade through the balloons—ankle deep, no less---over to where Josie is inspecting a piece of paper. She hands it to me and I silently begin to read, my face turning an attractive splotchy red color with each word. “Dear girls,” the note began, “Welcome back to the new school year! We hope you will enjoy our small gift to celebrate your return. We acknowledge it’s not much, but we promise there will be more to come. Sincerely, the boys.” The note is written official school stationary with the familiar logo bearing the name “Clermont School for the Gifted” at the top. The boys. There’s no specific name at the bottom, but I’d know that scratchy handwriting anywhere. “Topher,” I muttered aloud, and Josie just nodded knowingly. Topher and I went way back. All the way back to the first day of sixth grade, in fact, when we both got accepted to Clermont. His acceptance has more to do with his last name and his father’s pocketbook whereas I had to actually take the test to get a scholarship. His real name is Christopher with some ridiculous suffix, but he insists on being called Topher. Our story goes like this: boy meets girl, boy makes fun of girl’s hand me down shoes, girl cries, boy laughs, girl hates boy forever The attack on our house isn’t particularly shocking when you consider his mean spirited character. But still, the first day of the new school year is still two days away. Everyone has barely had time to unpack. It is usually acknowledged that the wars don’t really start until a couple of weeks into the term. Some years are less eventful than others, but it’s clear they mean war this time. Josie and I stand there amidst the debris; the scene looks weirdly peaceful with only the moon lighting it. I don’t want to speak because speaking means I’m acknowledging the issue and acknowledging the issue means I have to do something about it and I’m not quite ready to step into my role as leader yet. Finally, Josie breaks the silence by saying, “We really should get our locks changed.” I nod, still unwilling to say anything. I repeat the phrases "you are a senior. You are in charge. You have to fix this" like a mantra. Finally, when I feel I’ve indoctrinated myself well enough for the time being, I say, “Start cleaning up the toilet paper, I’ll find the fish. We’ll take care of the balloons in a minute.” Josie nods, relieved that I’m taking charge so she doesn’t have to. “Lorraine,” she says, and I’m immediately alarmed because the only time she uses my full name instead of Lo is when she’s got bad news or something hard to say. “You’re doing fine.” She awkwardly pats me on the back and I thank her. I’m not what you’d call “expressive” so I think we’re both relieved when we get on to cleaning the room and don’t have to speak anymore. The boys have done an excellent job of destroying our living room, and I find myself being actually thankful that they limited their attack to a single room. Josie goes into the kitchen to get a trash bag and I hear a crash as she opens a cabinet and plates come spilling out. Someone hasn’t done their dish duty properly and I feel a vague urge of responsibility to lecture someone about it, but like everything, it passes.

"I wouldn’t even be able to tell it was the living room of Wellington House if I hadn’t lived there for almost four years." I got lost here. I thought you meant "it" was the smell, and the smell was the living room. "I doubt I could have recognized the space as the living room, but I have the advantage of living in the Wellington House for almost four years." ----- “Topher,” I muttered aloud, and Josie just nodded knowingly. Topher and I went way back. You are unnecessarily wordy. "Topher," I muttered, and Josie nodded. ----- "All the way back to the first day of sixth grade, in fact, when we both got accepted to Clermont. " This is an awkward sentence fragment. I say take the last sentence of the paragraph before this one, and move it to this new paragraph, and you'll have a better introduction. "Topher and I go way back, all the way back to the first day of sixth grade when we were both accepted to Clermont." ----- "His acceptance has more to do with his last name and his father’s pocketbook" Love how you give this information about the character :) Though, you're telling the main story in present tense, you still want to tell past events in past tense, so it would be "His acceptance 'had' more to do..." ----- Our story goes like this: boy meets girl, boy makes fun of girl’s hand me down shoes, girl cries, boy laughs, girl hates boy forever Hehe! Love it! Should be "hand-me-down" ;) ----- The attack on our house isn’t particularly shocking when you consider his mean spirited character. Ahh, now why'd you go and do that!? You already gave us the backstory and showed us what he did! No need to treat the reader like an idiot, telling us blatantly that this guy is mean. Delete this sentence and it will be much better. ----- "the wars don’t really start until a couple of weeks into the term. " This is a great tidbit, but it might be more effectively used earlier in the story. It would actually be a great first line! "The wars don't usually start until a couple of weeks into the term, but here I am, spending my first night figuring out where an awful smell is coming from. There are balloons filled with jelly lining the floor and toilet paper draped over every piece of furniture..." At least it gives the mess a little context. When I first started reading, I thought she was in a messy orphanage or something lol! ---- Not bad at all! I'm only being nitpicky because it definitely has potential. You have a great writing voice. Keep it up!

Should I study abroad in Italy or New Zealand

Should I study abroad in Italy or New Zealand?
I'm not sure if the first time I tried asking this it worked, so sorry if I'm reposting. Deadlines are coming soon and I need to apply. I plan on studying abroad spring 2010 with CIS in either New Zealand or Italy I just can't decide. I go to college in the U.S and I'm a poli sci major. I also speak spanish and took italian during hs and for two semesters in college. New Zealand sounds amazing from the blogs I've read and less expensive than Italy. But Italy is a short trip away from all the rest of europe and with so much history. If I were to study in New Zealand it would be in Wellington and if it were Italy I would be in florence or perugia. Please help me decide, or provide links or personal experiences. I appreciate it xD

Dolphin rescues two stranded pymgy sperm whales. Your thoughts

Dolphin rescues two stranded pymgy sperm whales. Your thoughts?
Wellington - A friendly dolphin saved two pygmy sperm whales stranded off a New Zealand beach, steering them out to sea, according to a Conservation Department worker quoted in a news report on Wednesday. "It was amazing," Malcolm Smith said. "It was like she grabbed them by the flipper and led them to safety." He said he had worked for over an hour off Mahia, on the east coast of the North Island on Monday, trying to refloat the mother whale and her one-year-old male calf. After four unsuccessful attempts, he feared they would have to be euthanised. Smith said the whales were getting tired and he was getting cold when a dolphin who regularly plays off the beach, called Moko by local residents, turned up, the New Zealand Press Association reported. "The whales were sitting on the surface of the water quite distressed, they had arched their backs and were calling to one another, but as soon as the dolphin turned up they submerged into the water and followed her," Smith said. Two different species yet they're able to get along! If sea creatures can do this why can't we? ( ^ _ ^ ) Truly amazing!

I agree. Whales and dolphins are both awesome creatures! It's a real treat to see them in the wild, too. Saw dolphin for the first time last April in Malibu, and saw a whale for the first time off the Oregon Coast last July. Unforgettable experience, both.

Sort of makes you consider that humans do not have a monopoly on "humanity" doesn't it?
3 :
I love to hear things like that. We should take a lesson from that. I saw a video on you tube that a leopard had killed a primate and the primate had baby with it that he leopard had not seen and instead of the leopard killing it, it took care of it and watched over it. If I can find the video I will add it to this answer. Here is the video that I was talking about. Watch it all the way through. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceQr90C0Em0
4 :
WAY COOL! who will now say that only humans can show compassion?
5 :
Okay, I hate to be the party-pooper here ... but everybody re-read the last paragraph, please. It says that when the dolphin showed up, the whales followed her. That is not necessarily a "rescue," my friends. Especially since that dolphin ALWAYS played near that beach -- so it wasn't as if the dolphin was there JUST because the whales called out. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great story and I'm glad the whales are okay .... but portraying this as a "rescue" on the dolphin's part is just a bit over the top. .

Keep it up!

Chatting to someone in Nwq Zealand on ANY instant messenger impossible?!?
I'm in Texas, USA, and she's in Wellington, New Zealand. I know the internet in NZ is god-awful, but we apparently can't use instant messenger?! Both of our internet connections will be working just fine (IE: able to browse the web), but the minute we start using AIM or Skype, etc, our messages stop being sent, are never received, or take forever and a day to go through. What the heck is the problem? Is there anything we can do to fix it? It's like our two internet connections are incompatible, but that's absurd...

it could be the ISP blocking certain ports... try using a web based messenger that opens in your browser... this might just do the trick

use windows live messenger, download from www.ninemsn.com.au (doesnt matter where you live). set your ie7 up to this is essential for reliable messenging. IE7 ======= Over time IE7 seems to set its own (or programs do) tick boxes in the advance tab. In IE7 Tools >Internet Options >Advance Tab Click Restore advance settings defaults button. Then scroll the listings down to near the bottom and: Tick empty temp files when browser closes (this empties the cache, which if not empty, will stop you from going online). Who does a better job in a department store an illegal alien or an American Citizen

Who does a better job in a department store an illegal alien or an American Citizen?
Source: http://illegalaliennewsupdate.com/archives/7317 J.C Penney employee charged with raping boy in store dressing room • January 7, 2010 On Tuesday (November 24, 2009), police in Sturbridge, MA arrested Francisco Wellington Barros-Gomes, 26 at the J.C Penney’s department store on Route 131. He has been charged with the forcible rape of a child, after allegedly attacking him in one of the store’s dressing rooms. According to prosecutors, the alleged rape took place around 5:00 p.m., while the boy’s mother was making a phone call. Apparently, Barros-Gomes began a conversation with the boy, offering to bring him more clothes. At some point, the clerk entered the dressing room. Upon her return, the boy quickly reported the attack to his mother. During his arraignment on Wednesday, Assistant District Attorney Shayne Picard told Dudley District Court Judge Neil G. Snider: “At some point in time his mother needed to step away for a brief period of time to make a phone call while the young man was trying on clothing in a dressing room.” Picard continued: “At some point in time he began to touch the young man. There was some fondling, your honor, touching private parts. The young man indicated he believed at some point in time the defendant did penetrate him … as well as touching his private areas and having the young man touch his private areas.” Picard said that Barros-Gomes has admitted to touching the boy but that the defendant would not answer “when asked specifically if he penetrated the young man.” Due to the serious nature of the crime and the fact that Barros-Gomes is not a U.S. citizen, but a Brazilian national, the district attorney asked that bail be set at $100,000. However, despite the obvious risk of flight, Judge Snider instead set bail substantially lower at $25,000. Barros-Gomes has been in the country for 10 months, and was working in the children’s department of J.C. Penney’s at the time of the reported attack.

Who does a better job in a department store an illegal alien or an American Citizen? Well the article you used does not say he is illegal in fact if you had read it, it doesnt use illegal or the description illegal alien anywhere in the article but the site itself uses illegal, illegal alien and illegal immigrants all over its pages. Do you think it might have some thing to do with the type of site illegalaliennewsupdate.com is? They are not reporting news they are transfixed and obsessed with illegal immigration. Now then do you view raping a child as a job and not a crime? I am in agreement with probably millions of others that have read this story and think he is no different from any other child rapist that needs to be incarcerated and forgotten. But for some odd reason you seem to want to glorify him and his crime. Attorney: Alleged rapist worked three jobs STURBRIDGE — A 26-year-old Charlton man is being held on bail today on charges of sexually assaulting a minor at JCPenney, one of three places where he worked, according to the attorney representing him court. At his court attorney's request, Gomes was held behind a barrier, blocking him from view of spectators and the media. The attorney said her client has no prior criminal record. Picard said Gomes was working at JCPenney at the time of the incident a little before 6 p.m. and allegedly committed the assault under the guise of helping the boy try on clothes. Gomes, he said, was working in the children's department when the boy's mother stepped away to make a phone call, Picard said. Gomes then offered to help the boy try on clothes in a dressing room, Picard said, and proceeded to touch his alleged victim in inappropriate places and have intercourse with him. Picard said Gomes admitted to the touching, but did not specifically deny or admit the rape. "Unfortunately," Lt. Alan Curboy said of the incident, "some people take advantage of these situations." An East Brookfield woman who was heading into the store do some Christmas shopping said the company is not to blame. "I just think that people should keep better track of their kids," Cathy Laprad said. Do you think the Rothschild's had anything to do with the protocols of Zion?
Do you thinkit is ironic that the Nathan Rothschild was instrumental (also gained enormous weath) by helping the Duke of Wellington's army defet Napoleon Bonaparte. Napoleon whom had guaranteed freedom of religion, abolished laws restricting Jews to ghettos in europe as well as working for Jewish emancipation, and helping the jewish in germany, basically stopping the inqusitions going on through out europe. Do you think Nathan Rothschild had connections to the ottoman empire for trading routes in India, and was working in tandum with Jezzar Pasha at Acre? Do you think that now the Rothschilds Banking fourtune is behind a plot for a new world order?

Good heavens. Is anti-semitism the new rage on Yahoo Answers? The Protocols of Zion was a notorious hoax. The Rothschilds, while still a prominent and prosperous family, have nowhere near the wealth and influence they did hundreds of years ago. There are much better candidates for world takeover plots, if you're into that sort of thing. Sure, the Rothschilds were (and are) bankers, and lent money to many world leaders. That doesn't make them responsible for the actions of those leaders. That's like saying the Bank of America is responsible for the war in Iraq because they buy US government bonds. Napoleon's legacy is too complex to get into here, but not many people of his time saw him as the benevolent leader you describe. He was a power mad tyrant, despised by many of his own countrymen as well as others around the world.

Go to gradypublications.com and see 972 page book by Bill Grady titled "How Satan turned America against God". This book, among other things, talks about this. It also goes 400 years back and up to present day. Will explain the connection between W and Kerry and the Skull and Bones, Clinton and Rhodes, Illuminati and much more. Reasonably priced. If you want ot understand why daddy Bush talked about the New world order, it explains it. Amaze your friends, but it's too long to explain here. Take care.
3 :
Please note that the "Protocols of Zion" were indeed a hoax now attributed to one of the last Russian Czar's Secret Police as a pretext for pogroms.....If anyone is responsible for "a new world order(LOL)" check out the Carlyle Investment Group (see Saudi Royal Family and Bush Family investment ties!!!) Please find a more relevant conspiracy theory
4 :
The so-called Protocols of The Elders Of Zion was actually a re-write by some racist Russian of a French pamphlet written against Napoleon and his government. The only plot for a new world order is the one designed by the Project For A New American Century, or PNAC for short. Google for it.
5 :
I think you first need to learn how to write and then you need to go get a life. By the way, what part of the new world order is the Sultan of Brunei behind? Ha ? !
6 :
HAHAHAHA Antisemitism. The Protocol of Zion is just a russian copy of "Dialogue aux enfers entre Machiavel et Montesquieu" (Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu) Replacing France with Jews, Machiavelli with Jew, and Neopoleon the Third with Jews. The Rothschilds just happen to be a Jewish Family that made it big, just like the Italian family the Medici, who were bankers.

http://www.careers.govt.nz/default.aspx?id0=30103&id1=j47134 I've found this link that basically outlines what I need to become a horse trainer. I live in Wellington, NZ. 16 - 17 in August. PLLEEEAAAASSSSEEE!!! Any answers will be GREATLY appreciated! - Although I'm actually not expecting anyone to answer this or know anything about this kind of thing. But still. It's worth a shot! My aunty has A LOT of friends in the dressage etc side of things, but most of them have daughters who are interested in the same thing as me and getting their experience that way. :/ Just another lost dream :( lols

This is my English assignment.. could somebody possibly tell me if it makes sense and if its very informative?
Can you please also fix any spelling errors and point out something that doesnt make sense... thank you Media Investigation – Language in Sports Good Morning/Afternoon *********** and fellow Class Members. Today I have chosen the following articles, “Hurricanes vs. Waratahs Match Report,” as article 1 and, “HSBC Waratahs kick off 2009 with Bonus Point Victory!” as article 2, both about the first match of the Rugby Union Season. These articles are being used to show different examples of positive and negative writing angles in the language of Sports. The articles were written to inform readers about the match that took place between the HSBC Waratahs and Hurricanes on the 13th of February at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. The Waratahs are a New South Whales Rugby Union Team, based in Sydney and were Australia’s first Union Team, founded in 1865. The Hurricanes are a New Zealand team, based in Wellington and were formed in late 1995, early 1996. The first article follows a negative perspective of the match practically suggesting that the Waratahs win was simple luck and although the Hurricanes lost they played extremely well. The writer's tone set a negative discourse throughout the article, using words and phrases such as: “Charged down a scrambling Beale...” “Hurricanes came storming back...” “Deservedly, the Hurricanes closed the deficit...” and “They kept pressing hard on attack...” These examples help to shape our reading and understanding of the match in a variety of ways. Certain words like charged or pressing hard are used to help create a picture in our minds of the Hurricanes working hard and pushing themselves to play their absolute best. Other words, such as scrambling, create an image of Beale or another Waratah player scrambling for the ball. While writing this story the author intended that the article be written for Hurricane Supporters, using words that would keep their fans from backing another team and attempting to get across to them that although their team lost they are exceptional players and there is a great chance that the Hurricanes will win most of their games for the rest of the season. The author also bases the game around the Hurricanes and how well they played barely touching any good points about the Waratahs. Through reading this article the audience, depending on which team they support, is supposed to feel that they have made an excellent decision in backing the Hurricanes and although the Waratahs team won it doesn’t mean they need to support them, they instead feel proud of the Hurricanes and are filled with anticipation. The Second Article was written using a negative outlook exaggerating how well the Waratahs played in their first game of the season even though the Hurricanes held up a strong defence. In this article, the author wrote with an extremely positive discourse, using words and phrases such as: “Triumphing...” “Waratahs defence remained steadfast...” “Beale sliced through the defensive line...” and “Dominated...” These words and phrases help to form our reading and understanding of the match in various ways. Descriptive words like sliced through and steadfast assist us in shaping images in our minds of Waratah players attacking and defending to the best of their ability in a way that no other team could. Additional words such as Triumphing and dominated create a picture of players defeating Hurricane members. This story was written with Waratah supporters in mind, using words that suggest their team is made up of outstanding players and it assists in making sure that fans continue backing the Waratahs, allowing the audience to truly believe that they have a very high chance in winning most of their games for the rest of the season. This author barely writes about a team playing badly throughout the article because the more outstanding it sounds when describing how well the Hurricanes played, the better the Waratahs are made out to be. When the audience is reading this account it is expected that, depending whether they support the Waratahs or not, they feel proud and supportive of their team. It makes them experience a sense of admiration knowing that they’re supporting a winning team, and not only are they winners but they are also extraordinary players. The reason behind both articles being written using completely different angles is article one was written by a Hurricanes supporter and article two was written by a Waratahs supporter. Both authors are inclined to write about the team they back as they believe that they are the better team and have more superior players. Thank you Yes, i realise this as i listen to no ones really but mine as i cant stand listening to people talk especially if-they-talk-like-this and really slow to leaving 2 second gaps between each word. Thank you though. i realise how boring it is, i feel like falling asleep even when reading it but... ill throw something into power point presentation to keep people attention. thank you haha yes, it is my own words as well thank you so much... it really helps guys... id ask my oarents but there alwasy busy so its great to have kind enough people on Y/A to help me. What did God mean "those without love" or the natural love of humans ...in the time of the end

What did God mean "those without love" or the natural love of humans ...in the time of the end ?
. WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - Police arrested a man for leaving his 1-year-old baby in a car unattended during the early hours while he watched strippers at a nightclub in New Zealand's capital, and have placed the boy in welfare agency care. A passer-by called police after seeing the sleeping baby in a car parked near the Mermaid Strip Club in Wellington about 3 a.m. Tuesday. Police took the baby to hospital and arrested the father, 42, after he was located in the club, Inspector Simon Perry said. The man faces a charge of leaving a child under 14 without reasonable supervision, Perry said. The Child, Youth and Family agency has custody of the baby for five days while it works with the baby's relatives to decide on his future, agency deputy chief executive Ray Smith said. New Zealand's commissioner for children, John Angus, said leaving a child alone in a car at night was an "extreme form of neglect." "I would commend the member of the public who saw this poor child in the car and took some action to make it safe" by alerting police, Angus told National Radio. Authorities declined to confirm details of the baby's family situation, but Angus said he expected relatives to step in and warn the father that "it's not good enough for our child to be looked after this way." Here is another rendering: (2 Timothy 3:1-5) 3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. The Greek had four different words for "Love". The Greek word a′stor·goi, translated here as “having no natural affection,” refers to the natural bond family members have for one another, such as the love a mother has for her children.

you have to remember that it is not wise to say that their have been better times than this (this is a proverb, i can't remember the exact text) that is to say, joseph was put in jail because a woman wanted to sleep with him, and when she was put to shame by him, she lied to harm his reputation (ultimately joseph was raised on high, the righteous shall be set free, especially since joseph suffered through much wrongful harm). the 2 woman who came to solomon, one was willing to lie even though she knew it was not her baby (a man's heart are deep waters, but a wise man draws them out, meaning solomon understood how to get a reaction that would show the true mother, he had no intent of killing the baby) abner raped his half sister, even though she was willing to marry him. etc.etc. the point is when it speaks of the last days, it is speaking spiritually, meaning that people will have no problem ignoring their own conscience in order to do what they want. if this man has really done what he has done, he will have to live with it for the rest of his life (even if he gets off light, everyone who knows him will remember) i often wonder as to the translation of such texts as well, as there are often subtleties in the text that are not brought forward as translators often believe they understand what is being written. in proverbs (and remember proverbs say one thing, but often mean the opposite somehow) it says "the poor man (blessed are the poor in spirit) loves pleasure, and since true pleasure (almost beyond imagination compared to regular life) is ultimately found with god, pleasure is not something that is wrong. another proverb would be "do not speak badly about a rich man" which obviously does not mean do not talk badly about someone who has money (though many will not talk badly in hopes of getting some of that money) but refers to not speaking badly about god, or his servants (the more that servant has honored god with his life, the more you should not speak badly about him, for instance in the case of elijah/elisha, they were defended fiercely by god, because they were righteous men, and especially because during elijah's time he felt as though he was the only servant of god left. this could have specific meaning as people who do these type of things in large proportion sort of turn your stomach (they are almost hard to be around, because they are like snakes, this is especially true of the religious hypocrites, meaning harshly condemning things they have done themselves, as someone may condemn something they have done themselves but still be acting in love as they truly believe it to be wrong. these people are like snakes in the grass, the sound of their voice is almost intolerable (you brood of vipers))

We should have natural affection one for another. In the instance of that poor child they obviously didn't care at all - pure selfishness. Sadly, selfishness does rather sum up the way so many people live their lives. Thankfully there are still some who are generous in their love and responsible.

✞ Exactly what He said...Men will be lovers of themselves...Its a terrible reality this day and age...we are seeing things that 20 years ago were unheard of..Thins are going to get worse though, we see this in the scriptures...

Could you give me some feedback

Could you give me some feedback?
Could you tell me what you think of this excerpt? What I would really like to know is if the counting sequence works for this part. It's the first part of chapter 18, so I'm sorry if it's a little confusing. When they arrived at the hospital Rebecca was taken to the emergency department, and Jacob was ushered into the waiting room. As he was being separated from his mother Ed reassured him once again that they would do all they could for Rebecca, before rushing into a busy hall with the gurney. Ed’s scratch wasn’t bleeding anymore, but a long pink line scarred his cheek. Behind Ed, Chuck scrambled to keep up before he too vanished behind a pair of double doors. With a sigh Jacob turned and headed towards a seat in the waiting area where he reluctantly sat down. He checked the clock on the wall. Seven in the morning. Soon the room would gradually fill as the day came, but for now Jacob was the only occupant. Wellington was slightly larger than Portland, but nevertheless it was still a rural community. The emergency room never housed more than one hundred patients a week, and the waiting period was always slim to none. Feet clicked on the white tile as a hospital nurse crossed in front of Jacob and entered through the double doors. The room was awfully bland. Tasteless white walls surrounded unkempt magazine bins and plastic vegetation. Untended children’s toys were scattered throughout the small lifeless room. The smell of disinfectant wafted through the air, and a chilled cold nipped at Jacob as he waited. Boredom overtook him quickly and soon he found himself counting up and down from one hundred over and over again. He always did this to pass the time away. It was one of his unusual practices that would drive most people insane. Yet it always calmed him. For some reason the rhythmic voice inside of his head, steadily counting back and forth, was the one thing that Jacob could rely on to ease his stress. Sometimes, when his parent’s would break out into a fight and the house would fill with screaming violence, Jacob would count. He would lose himself in his own rhythm, blocking out all other noise, leaving the fighting and his parents behind. He would withdraw from this world and recede into his very own one. He knew it wasn’t healthy, receding into his mind. But it was the only way to stop the screaming, the only way to end the pain. This method worked doubly well whenever he needed to forget the pain left after his father hit him. The anguish would leave his body and Jacob would be lost in numbers. He would retreat into his own mind, never coming out until forced to. There was something about the counting that distracted him from the despair. Like anesthesia to a patient, his thoughts would drift from the pain and focus on the rhythm. It was his way out if he ever had one. He couldn’t leave his pathetic existence, so he created another one, deep inside of his own mind. There, in that existence, he was free from pain and distress. There his father could drink without beating him. There his mother could laugh without laughing at him. There his parents could talk without screaming. There he could live without fear that he would die in that hellhole, die and never get out. And most importantly, in that pitiful existence he had created for himself, he could live like an equal to Travis. Oh God how he wished it were real. How he wished he weren’t dead to the real world. Oh yes, he was alive and loved inside of his own little fantasy, but when he was brought to reality, when he was stolen back to the depths of dehumanization, he was dead to the world. Twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine. His mother was giving him a warm hug, embracing him tightly to her chest as tears of pity rolled down her cheeks. “I love you Mom,” Jacob said as she tenderly kissed him on the chick. “I love you too son.” She said back. Thirty, thirty-one, thirty-two. He was in the living room watching a movie with his parents. “Do you want a drink Isaac dear?” Rebecca asked to Jacob’s father. “Oh no, not tonight. It’s family night sweetheart!” Jacob’s father said before turning to Jacob and smiling. That was right. It was family night. Thirty-three, thirty-four, thirty-five. Jacob peered outside at the rain through the kitchen window. Underneath a tree in the backyard Travis huddled and cried as tears mixed with cold rainwater under his eyes. Travis wept, and wept, and wept. Just as he had done before…. Just as he had done.

Not that we don't want to help, but we sure don't want to spoon-feed you. All the questions above would have been covered in your class or in assigned reading. None of it should have come as a surprise to you, and mindlessly regurgitating someone else's answers teaches you nothing but to be a grifter.
